Hello from Mount Isa
Have you ever thought of a MARRIAGE or NAMING
or FUNERAL as A RITE OF PASSAGE. We humans are seasonal, ritual beings, and therefore,
we have a need to celebrate key events in our lives. As a Civil celebrant, I help couples and families celebrate these
RITES OF PASSAGE in a way that will not only meets their personal needs but also in a way that fully complies with
Legislation which is especially relevant in the caseof a marriage. A wedding for example is not simply an out
of doors registry office or for that matter, a secularised religious ceremony, it's a beautiful ritual, legitimate in it's own right. Engaging me, as your celebrant is an implicit request to not
only celebrate a rite of passage, but also to ensure that it is done in a way that fully complies with relevant Legislation.

My name is Graham Jacob and I'm a Civil Marriage
Celebrant servicing Mount Isa and the surrounding Gulf region. I was authorised as a Celebrant by the Commonwealth Attorney
Generals Department on the 30th January 1995 and my Registration Number is A03399.
I meet a growing
community need by offering a real alternative to a registry office or church wedding. When you ask me to be your celebrant, you can expect professional service and advice. Not only can I assist
you to fully and satisfactorily complete all of the legal paperwork associated with your marriage, I can also help
you create a ceremony that reflects what you want to say to each other, your family and friends, but also celebrate that ceremony,
as you would like it, at a time and place of your choice. My aim is to give a friendly professional personal service
to all the couples or families who ask me to be their celebrant.
